This is an upgraded version of our popular Rajasthan Adventure Tour utilizing primarily Heritage properties.

This is recently updated 2013 pricing, reflecting increases in fuel costs and a new roster of (even better!) Legacy Hotels.

Arrival Day: You'll be met by your Namaste India Tours English speaking driver at the exit of the arrivals hall and taken to your hotel. He'll get you settled in your room and agree on a meeting time for tomorrow's City Tour of Delhi. (Hotel Florence, The Delhi Pride, Sun Star Grand, Hotel Good Palace, Aura de Asia or similar Karol Bagh hotel: Breakfasts are included throughout your trip.)
Day 2. Full day City Tour of Delhi.
Day 3. To Jhunjhunu (district headquarters of the Shekhawati region). Khetri Mahal, Rani Sati Temple, other temples and havelis as time permits. (The Grand Haveli or Udai Vilas Palace or similar.)
Day 4. Surface to Bikaner. (Bhanwar Niwas Palace or Gaj Kesri or similar)
Day 5. City Tour of Bikaner (founded 1488). Junagarh Fort, Lalgarh Palace and Museum, Camel Research and Breeding Farm. Afternoon side trip for the adventurous to Mata Karni Devi Temple.
Day 6. Surface to Jaisalmer.Late afternoon trip to Sam sand dunes. Two hour sunset camel ride included.(JaisalGarh, Nachna Haveli or Rang Mahal or similar)
Day 7. City Tour of Jaisalmer. Jaisalmer Fort, Gadi Sagar lake, Patwon ki Haveli, Nathmal ki Haveli, other elaborate havelis as time permits. Side trip to Bada Bagh oasis, site of the royal cenotaphs.

Day 8. To Jodhpur (founded 1459). Meherangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace and Museum, the extensive gardens of Mandore, Famous wooden handicraft market. (Pal Haveli, Hotel Karni Bhawan Palace or Ratan Vilas or similar)
Day 9. Visit Ranakpur and Kumbalgarh enroute to Udaipur. (Karohi Haveli, Lake Pichola, Kankarwa Haveli or similar)
Day 10. City Tour of Udaipur (1568). City Palace and Museum, Jagdish temple, Folk Art Museum, sunset boat ride or sunset side trip to Monsoon Palace.
Day 11. To Pushkar. Rest and relaxation in the temples and on the ghats of the sacred lake. One of India's holiest cities, dedicated to Lord Brahma, creator of the earth. (Pushkar Bagh, Pushkar Fort, Jagat Singh Palace, Pushkar Palace or similar) Note: Fair supplement applies if you are in Pushkar during the Camel Fair.
Day 12. Surface to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Traditional Rajasthani dinner at Chwokki Dhanni or Apna Goan included.(Shapura House, Khandela Haveli, Mahal Khandela or similar)
Day 13. City Tour of Jaipur. Elephant ride to Amber Palace. Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Albert Hall (central museum), optional evening Hindi film at Raj Mandir Cinema.(You can add Ranthambhore National Park to this itinerary if you have two extra days and nights. Day 14. Visit the abandoned city of Fatephur Sikri enroute to Agra.(Utkarsh Villas, Raj Mahal, Hotel Amar or similar)
Day 15. City Tour of Agra. Taj Mahal. Agra Fort. Itimad-ud-daulah tomb. Side trip to Akbar's Mausoleum at Sikandra.
Day 16. Return to Delhi.

Holiday hotel supplement is charged for Christmas Day and New Year's Eve. Pushkar Camel Fair supplement also applies during the fair.

Meals and entrance fees to attractions (except where noted) are not included in package price. Entrance fees are subject to change. Entrance fees can range from a few rupees to US $10. The Taj Mahal is currently about US $20. Most are under US $5.

It is customary to tip your driver 10% for his sixteen days of continual service.

Communication prior to confirmed services is done via email. All guests with confirmed services have our complete contact instructions, including home, business and mobile numbers.

*US $2,688 per couple based on double occupancy using 50 rupees per USD. The exchange rate fluctuates and we use whatever exchange rate is current the day you pay us in Delhi. This is a package price. We don't discount or bargain on the prices of our services. You'll have plenty of other opportunites to bargain in India if you're in to that sort of thing.
