Or so you can get off and go to the bathroom for that matter! With a car from Namaste India Tours, you are in control of where you go and when you go, and now we're talking about destination. All cars come equipped with reverse gear, so if you see something that needs further exploration, just say the word! India doesn't have to pass by you in a blur.
You can't begin to compare the comfort of car travel to the bone clanking experience of Indian buses. (Hey, everybody should have the experience!) And travel on India's vast rail network has a certain mystique. But they don't always go out or come in when they say they should. And in Rajasthan, not all cities are well connected by rail. But you've probably already discovered that.
Because we say what we do, and we do what we say.

In a land as confusing as India, that can be a godsend. With more than twenty-five years experience in showing travelers this grand exotic conundrum of a country (did we just use the word conundrum?) we still take joy in the journey ourselves. We understand the needs and concerns of our guests. And we have really, really good drivers. And that is really, really important!
We work all the time, all year round, and we've always got your back. For over twenty years, the Namaste India Tours team has worked out of their homes (even before Covid forced much of the world to do the same!) We do not have a storefront anymore, and hopefully never will again! For a while, we had an office in the shark tank that is Connaught Place. Oh, the stories we could tell...
Anyplace the car can go.

We have packages to make life easier. Our most popular package is the Rajasthan Legacy Tour. And let's just get the whole cost issue out in the open right now. The Rajasthan Legacy Tour package is currently roughly US $2,250 per couple by Dzire. See inside for complete details including pricing for other cars, and for extra people if you are traveling with friends. We don't make any attempt to be the cheapest company, just the one with the highest customer satisfaction.

For having the foresight to book ahead with us, you get complimentary pickup at the airport and transfer to your hotel. You get a city tour of Delhi on your first day. You have an on-call "chauffeur" and use of an AC insured tourist car for the duration of your package, as well as a mobile phone to use during your trip. (You will need to purchase the SIM card.) Hotel, fuel, road taxes, border taxes, and even parking fees are all included. What is not included is food (except breakfast--that's included in all our packages) and those controversial entrance fees to historic sights. Some sights are free, and others still a bargain by western standards, We can advise you on current entrance fees for specific sights closer to your trip date. They range from Rs 5 to Rs 750.

Well...you can do either, or even both, though we don't recommend it. Clouds look much the same no matter where you travel. If you fly, you'll miss the excitement of the Indian roads. And you'll still have to secure a car or taxi at each city. That's a hassle, and you miss the opportunity to spe

Well...you can do either, or even both, though we don't recommend it. Clouds look much the same no matter where you travel. If you fly, you'll miss the excitement of the Indian roads. And you'll still have to secure a car or taxi at each city. That's a hassle, and you miss the opportunity to spend quality time with one of our drivers, who often becomes like a son/father/uncle/brother.
Can you arrive without making any advance arrangements? Of course. Anything is possible in India. There is a pre-paid taxi stand at the airport. Good hotels are often fully booked well in advance, but there is always SOME place you can find to lay your head. People are very helpful. Many, many people will go out of their way to offer assistance, and not all of them will be touts ;)
Because since you started talking to your friends about going to India, on your own, not part of a tour group, they've been looking at you like you have two heads. And you need to convince yourself you aren't crazy to do this after all.
Our business, like many others around the world, was decimated by the Covid-19 worldwide pandemic. We look forward to the day when we can all travel freely again. Due to the pandemic, our last service was in early 2020. Please take that into consideration when looking for recent reviews.
